Want to attend Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis, Minnesota? Hope you’ve got a couple thousand bucks lying around.
Because according to Stub Hub, the cheapest ticket (as of this morning, the Friday before the Super Bowl) was $3,169. That’s for a seat in Upper End Zone 324. Out-of-towners, please note: that obviously doesn’t include the flight out to Minneapolis or lodging — both of which are likely to be pretty steep at this late date.
If you’re a thousandaire and love football, it might be worth it. But in any case, it’s a lot of money. How much money? Well, these things are relative. A lot depends on how much money you make.

We did the math and determined how many hours employees in each occupation have to work to come up with the money. (Note: We rounded up to the nearest hour, because vendors won’t spot you a couple of bucks just because you’ve already put in 100-plus hours to buy those tickets.)
